Removing Remaining

It's a myth that if you put warm or hot food in a container and keep it in the fridge it can grow dangerous bacteria. As long as you share large portions of food into smaller, founder containers, they will be good. It is much more dangerous to leave food in the open to cool first.

And do not leave the food for the late afternoon buffet for the latecomers either. Food should be stored in a refrigerator or freezer within 2 hours after boiling.

How to store leftovers for better taste

To keep your leftovers tasting fresh and yummy, store them in airtight bags or containers or wrap them securely in plastic wrap.

Food usually absorbs the odors of other foods in the fridge, but keeping Thanksgiving in an airtight container will help prevent them from trying funky.

How long is Thanksgiving left?

No, you can not continue to eat your Thanksgiving goodies well into next week. According to the Washington State Department of Health, you must freeze or throw chilled residues within three to four days.
