Android 11 is ready for your phone, as long as it is compatible. And if it̵7;s not yet, it may be soon – phone brands want to quickly track Google’s new operating system for their best phones. The Android 11 update brings a lot of new features, including , redesigned media controls, enhanced messaging and a new messaging feature called , which you will either love or hate.
As is usually the case with major, how soon you get the update depends on who is manufacturing your device. Google has said that Android 11 will roll out to its and newer phones in that range, along with , , and phones right now.
Do you own a Pixel? You are a few taps from Android 11
Open the Settings app on your phone and tap at least one Pixel phone The system > Advanced > System update > Check for update. If your phone does not find the update immediately, be patient. As is always the case with Google, the update rolls out slowly, so it may take a few days before it appears on your phone – just keep checking.
Once your phone has found the update, just follow the instructions to install it as if you were doing another update. I recommend that your phone is connected to a charger and a strong Wi-Fi connection to ensure that the process is as smooth as possible.
There is an open beta for OnePlus 8 and 8 Pro

How about Nokia, Xiaomi, Oppo?
Not all phone manufacturers have announced their launch plans for Android 11, but we know that Nokia has confirmed that it will release Android 11.
Oppo will officially announce its ColorOS 11 update on September 14 via a live stream and has also opened a limited beta for Find X2, Find X2 Pro, Reno3 (4G) and Reno3 Pro (4G).
Xiaomi posted on Twitter that the Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro would be the first devices to get Android 11, and the company has also launched a beta program for early users.

What do you do if you were in the public beta?
You should not have to do anything special if you have tested Android 11 on a Pixel phone via Google’s official beta program. When the update is available for your phone, you will update to the official version of Android 11 and “exam” from the beta program.
