At the beginning of its infancy, the App Store was filled with text bomb apps that allowed users to send a barrage of text messages to friends, family and enemies. It was a fun way to annoy people, but Apple is quickly scrubbing the apps because of technical issues. Although text bombs are still being banished, you can now use a Siri shortcut to send text bombs via iMessage on your iPhone.
Redditor u / DreadTheFire has created a shortcut that allows you to automatically send any The Bee Movie script, line-by-line through iMessage. We'll show you how to add this shortcut to your device and how to configure it so you can send all the text you want, not just the Bee Movie script.
Start by downloading the Bee Movie Spam Shortcut on your iPhone. The iCloud download is free, but you need to run iOS 12 or later for the shortcut to work. Click the link below from your iPhone and then click "Download Shortcut" to add it to the shortcut library.
Now that Bee Movie Spam is available on your device, open the shortcuts app, go to the tab My Shortcuts and click on the "Bee Movie Shortcut" shortcut. Your contact list is displayed; Choose someone to spam with the Bee Movie script.
Note: Not all contacts work with this shortcut. If they only use regular text messages (no iMessage), the shortcut for Bee Movie Spam will not work. You will receive a message saying "Invalid recipients."
As soon as you select a contact, the Bee Movie Spam shortcut will work and spread each line in the Bee Movie script one by one until done. Below you can see text messages that are automatically sent to my contact.
The shortcut continues to work in the background until it is clear. If you want to stop it, go to the shortcuts app and tap the shortcut "Bee Movie Spam".
Step 3: Edit the shortcut to say it all (Optional)
When sending the entire Bee Movie script is fun, you may want to taste your friends with something else. Fortunately, you can easily edit the shortcut to say what you want. First, open the shortcuts app and then click on the three points at the top right of the Bee Movie Spam shortcut to see more information.
Scroll down until you reach "Text." Remove the Bee Movie script text and enter the desired text. Each sentence is a text message, so add a period to create a new one. As you can see below, I replaced the script with hundreds of "hello" messages, all separated by periods. When finished, press "Done" at the top right.
Now click on the Bee Movie Spam shortcut in your library, select a contact, and the shortcut will automatically send your revised text bomb. To stop the shortcut, go to the shortcuts app and tap the shortcut for Bee Movie Spam.
