Picking up one of the best weapons in a 19459005 round, Apex Legends may mean the difference between elimination or removal of a master. With so many classes of weapons available and different weapons falling under each, it can be quite difficult to determine which ones are most ideal. Fortunately, we've done all the hard work for you!
The best weapons in Apex Legends
In Apex Legends you have to scavenge for all your gear, which you start with nothing but an empty backpack. You can wear two weapons at the same time, but if you continue to live through several phases, you will likely encounter many, many more.
This means you have a decision to redo the weapons you are fighting. We have compiled a guide describing each of the weapons currently available in Apex Legends and offering our recommendations within each weapon class.
Apex Legends currently has four guns. Generally, guns are available in excess and they are often the first weapon you find when you drop. Of course you want to pick them up when you have no other weapons, but they are usually the first ones to be replaced when you find another class of weapon.
As said, Wingman is quite powerful than the other two. Wingman uses heavy ammunition and treats a sharp 45 damage with each body shot and doubles it if you hit the head. It is not the easiest gun to use due to the slow, intentional firing, but if you connect an optical scope you can have an easier time with it.
Mozambique meanwhile burns shotgun shells, which means it only works close and has only a three-year newspaper as standard. Again, there are 45 injuries with body shots. So if you land three shots on an opponent, you can hurry them off.
Apex Legends more conventional pistols, RE-45 and P2020 carry more ammunition per newspaper but do gross damage (less than 20 also if you get a headshot). Unlike Mozambique and Wingman, you really want to replace the RE-45 and P2020 when you find a long gun.
There are three powered guns, and one of them you should pay special attention to. Prowler Burst PDW is technically a SMG but it does not spray as wildly as the other two, making it better for longer intervals. The PDW is most damaged for the SMGs (thanks to heavy ammunition) and can be fitted with scopes and extended mags. Each trigger draw shoots five rounds.
The other two SMGs, Alternator and R-99 are more equipped for mid to short range meetings. Both have a rapid fire rate and sufficient damage. But none of them will take down an opponent with a single clip unless you have a good purpose. The main advantage of the generator and R-99 is that they use light ammunition, which is the most common type of bullets in Apex Legends .
] Apex Legends currently has two light machine guns. If you decide between LMG or SMG, we recommend that you go with either LMG because of the powerful magazines and increased damage. Our favorite is Devotion who also happened to be one of the best guns in Titanfall 2. Devotion has a huge 44's newspaper that loses faster the longer you hold the trigger.
M600 Spitfire actually does more damage per bullet than Devotion and is easier to handle. Spitfire burns slower, though. You can't go wrong with either LMG, but we prefer the whole.
You will encounter four different weapons in Kings Canyon. You can't really go wrong with either of them, but our personal favorite so far is VK-47 Flatline . It uses heavy rounds and has a 20-round magazine. Like other rifles and machine guns, it helps to get an extended newspaper and attach space for accuracy. It is completely automatic, so it is good to shoot in both moving and stationary targets.
Havoc Energy Rifle, the first post-launch gun to enter Kings Canyon, is a close second to the VK-47, mainly because it's amazing single shot mod. While fully automatic by default, the Selectfire receiver can make it a hit scan rifle that burns devastating rays of energy. It packs a punch like an automatic weapon and rivals VK-47 with the turbocharger counter equipped.
R-301 Carbine uses light rounds and is not as powerful as the other two attack guns, but it is very accurate and easy to use. Hemlock Burst AR is the most powerful assault rifle you can find. With a lack of shooting pattern, Hemlok shoots three rows in quick succession. Some might prefer Hemlok over Flatline, especially if you have a good purpose.
There are four shotguns in Kings Canyon. All shotguns, by nature, are meant for close combat, so you should always have a weapon for the midfield to complete the shotguns.
The Mastiff but limited in quantity, is by far the most powerful shotgun in the game. If you go into a player's vicinity with the Mastiff, you can take them down into a deadly boom. It has only four rounds, but if you are close enough to your goal, it doesn't matter at all – you don't need everyone.
The Peace Guard is mid-shot shotgun that has a wide spray with each trigger pull. It's also about lots of damage, but not as much as the Mastiff. Nevertheless, the six rounds in their chamber are more than enough to take down evenly hard shielded enemies from close range.
