After nearly two years, Apple has updated its iMac line with newer processors and graphics cards as a follow-up to its iPad update.

If you thought Apple forgot its iMac line, it would be understandable. Two years is a long time to wait for an update on a computer line (we're looking at you Mac Pro). But Apple just updated its store with new iMac options that include either last year's processors or this year's processors, depending on what you choose. All changes are internal but from the outside it looks the same. It's okay, they looked good and already have high resolution screens.

You can grab the 21.5-inch iMac with an eighth-generation quad-core i3 or a six-core i5 processor. They come with a Radeon Pro 555X GPU or a Radeon Pro 560X to drive your viewing needs. If you need something with more oomph, you can always upgrade to an eighth generation six-core i7 processor with a Radeon Pro Vega 20 GPU. The 21.5-inch iMac pricing starts at $ 1099 and goes up from there.

If you need a larger monitor, 27-inch iMac gets new processors today. You can choose the eighth generation six-core i5 or move up to the ninth generation of eight core i9 processors. While configuring, you can choose from the Radeon Pro 570X GPU or increase it to the Radeon Pro 580X GPU.

Apple makes a big part of the new hardware settings and points out that this is the first time the 21.5 inch iMac can use the Radeon Pro Vega series. The company claims that the new machines have twice as much performance compared to the iMac you can buy yesterday. It is credible in view of the time since the last update, but if you are in the market for an iMac, the changes should be welcome.

Apple has also added new iMac Pro options

Apple did not quit the regular iMac line, and they have a serious issue for you. Want a brand new Fiat 500 or a new iMac Pro? For $ 15,000, you can have the best iMac pro play ever.

Apple added new configuration options to the iMac Pro, which includes the ability to cover your device with 256 gigabytes of frame and a Radeon Pro Vega 64X GPU. But the cost is incredibly high. Bumping from 32 gigabytes to 256 gives an eyewash $ 5200 to the price tag (about one semester in college). And if you jump from the Radeon Pro Vega 56 to the Radeon Pro Vega 64X you will get back a $ 700 supplement.

But if you want the most powerful iMac Pro, Apple gave you the opportunity if you can afford it.
