On Monday, February 4, Apple released the second developer beta for iOS 12.2. The update includes bug fixes for users running iOS 12.2 beta 1, so developers are urged to update their iPhones as soon as the software becomes available. It is unclear whether the update includes a fix for Group FaceTime error detected last week.
Apple has not yet listed the release notes for iOS 12.2 dev beta 2 on its site, but we know that the update contains a number of bug fixes. While it does not seem to contain any new or noteworthy features from dev beta 1, users should notice a more stable building of iOS.
Release notes, when available, will be listed here.
To download and update your iPhone to iOS 12.2 dev beta 2, you must first be a registered developer with a valid configuration profile. If you have enabled "Automatic Updates" in iOS 12, you can have the software updated overnight. To install right now, start the Settings app, select "General" and then "Software update." Touch "Download and Install" and then follow the on-screen instructions.
