Apple released only the third iOS 12.2 developer beta on Tuesday, February 19, fifteen days after the IOS 12.2 developer beta 2 was released. Beta 3 fixes a problem with the lock screen and reinsert Group FaceTime to beta testers. Overall, iOS 12.2 hosts a host of new features as well as bug and security updates.
According to Apple, the solution for beta 3 is the biggest solution to solving a problem where the charge indicator would remain on the lock screen where the date is usually, even after the iPhone has been removed from the power. However, Apple silently added iOS 12.1.4's Group FaceTime patch to 12.2 beta 3, which restored limited Group FaceTime capabilities to beta testers. While you still can't add people to group calls, you can start a call from a group chat.
Also new to 12.2 beta is a newly developed Apple TV remote control on the screen. "News" has a new heading, with the original logo removed from the upper right corner of the screen; The "About" screen in Settings is reorganized slightly, grouping important data together.
Applicants can now begin to change subscription rates when they want new subscription support, which means that recurring costs no longer need to be fixed or limited
Apple released iOS 12.1.4 to the public last week and squeezed the infamous Group FaceTime- security file, but earlier iOS 12.2 beet was released. It is possible that this update will restore Group FaceTime to a safe location, but we cannot confirm this yet.
The messages for iOS 12.2 beta 3 are as follows:
App Store – Promoting your subscriptions with new offers
StoreKit now supports subscription offers in addition to introductory offers, so apps with auto-renewable subscriptions will soon be able to offer discounted offers price for a certain duration for existing and formerly subscribed customers. You will be able to use subscription offers to help win back subscribers who have canceled their subscriptions or are upgrading to a different subscription at a special price. Customers can accept the offer, even if they have already made an initial offer.
StoreKit introduces a new series of SKProductDiscount objects within the SKProduct class to show offers within your app to authorized customers. Add a new SKPaymentDiscount item within the SKPayment class to allow these offers to be accepted by the customer.
