Apple just released iOS 14.1 for iPhone today, Tuesday 13 October. The update comes on the day Apple announced the iPhone 12, 12 mini, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max. Apple released this update eight days after tvOS 14.0.2 and 19 days after the launch of iOS 14.0.1.
Apple sowed this update just before 11:30 PDT. However, it does not appear that the update is available OTA (over air) yet. If you do not see it on your iPhone yet, keep checking, as Apple is likely to seed it soon.
It is not yet clear what to expect from 14.1, as the update is so new. Apple’s latest public update, iOS 14.0.1, was mostly a stability update for iPhones, with issues with the News widget, the default browser and email apps, among other issues from iOS 14.
Release notes for iOS 14.1 coming soon.
