Today, Apple announced a number of new Apple watches, which also serve as a great smartwatch and fitness device. But if you try to get in shape (or stay in shape) it always helps to have motivation. Apple̵7;s new Fitness + subscription manages to do just that for $ 9.99 a month or $ 79.99 a year – including families.
Fitness + works a lot like similar training subscriptions from other companies, such as Peloton. You pay every month for video training sessions with trainers. But you do not need a special bike or rowing machine, you can use whatever you have on hand. According to Apple, many workouts require only a simple set of dumbbells.
But the special ingredient Fitness + is Apple Watch. When you start a workout on your iPhone or Apple TV, your Apple Watch syncs with your workout. Your heart rate and other statistics are displayed on the screen embedded in your workout as you train.
Like other services, music will be played throughout the session, and pre-recorded coaches will encourage you to continue. Apple plans to add new workouts each week. You can save your favorite playlists to Apple Music.
Apple Fitness + workouts come in ten categories, from cardio to yoga, and you can work out at home, in the gym or on the go. Apple Fitness + costs $ 9.99 per month or $ 79.99 per year, including all your family members. Anyone who buys a new Apple Watch gets three months of Apple Fitness + for free.
