In the field of internet security, it is clear that increased reality is not immune to the increasing violent crimes that plague users.
On Friday, the furniture retailer Houzz, an early adopter of the ARKit, revealed details of a data breach that occurred in December 2018.
While an investigation of the infringement was ongoing, Houzz has learned the profile information, internal identifiers with "no noticeable importance for someone outside of Houzz ", internal account information and publicly available account information leaked due to the infringement.
The compromised information contains the names and locations of users, current and past user IDs, Facebook IDs, IP addresses, and one-sided encrypted passwords. However, the scope of the information disclosed to each user varies depending on whether the user made his profile information public or logged on via Facebook.
