"AI-driven immersive and space technology becomes common," said Marco DeMiroz, general partner of the VR Foundation, founded by the NR30 member Tipatat Chennavasin. "Phier's breakthrough deep learning technology and AR navigation app not only give value to users, but also an example of the kind of incredible potential in AI and AR. "
Phier's technology uses deep learning and data view to segment the camera view on smartphones, so that the app identifies roads, cars, pedestrians and other objects and provides prompting in camera shake with precision. Through a standard smartphone camera sensor, Phier's neural network offers device computation, resulting in faster performance than cloud-based solutions.
