Since iOS 6, “Reply with text” has allowed us to quickly answer a call that we can not (or do not want) to answer. But Apple gives you only three options to choose from, and if you do not have time to print your own answer, the three may not cut it. Fortunately, you can tailor these three answers to whatever you want.
Just open Settings -> Phone and then tap “Reply with text” below Call. Here are Apple’s three standard answers. To replace one, tap it and add your own. There is no character limit, so it can be as short or as long as you want. When you are done, tap “Phone”; at the top left. If you ever regret your decision, you can always come back here and cancel it with the (x) button and Apple’s default response will return.
With your custom answers locked, just wait for someone to call you. When you tap “Message” on the incoming call screen, you will find your new answers ready to go. Press any to send it immediately and end the call.
