Destiny 2 is about earning a new loot and growing as powerfully as possible. But how to get your strength up quickly, especially after the trio of expansion ̵1; Curse of Osiris Warmind and Forsaken – can be a bit confusing. Therefore, we have made this Destiny 2 power leveling guide that breaks down everything you need to do to maximize your energy level.
Step One: Download to Level 50
The first goal along the way to reach the playoffs is to maximize your character level. For many players, by filling in the story campaign and the expansion story assignments, you can get the most out of it, if not all the way there. On the way, you have to find weapons and gear that are too powerful for you. This is because Destiny 2 measures your potential with your Power rating.
As with Light in Destiny the power level is average for your entire gear and is a measure of your overall strength, offensive and defensive. As you go through the history, each activity has a suggested power level in the director. If your power is low, you spend time filling in side goals like public events and adventures to get better gear.
The effect is steadily increasing throughout the game. New, more powerful weapons and armor regularly fall from enemies. Gear that is common (white), unusual (green) and rare (blue) will continue to have higher and higher power levels when walking. They put out about 500 with Forsaken installed, so when you turn this level, disassemble any green or blue drops you get. You no longer need them because it is the purple legendary drops that carry you to the power level of 650.
Grab your subclasses
The next goal is to unlock alternative subclasses and as early as possible. After completing a public event, you get a weird object that triggers an attempt to return your subclasses. To serve your subclasses, end public events until the subclass milestone leads you back to earth. In the Earth's director's map, a mission takes you to Mörkskogen where you will complete a card assignment that unlocks your subclass. From there, you continue to level up to earn more ability points and unlock all your benefits and abilities.
Each character class has three new perk trees for each subclass available in Forsaken . You get one of them by completing a mission during the storytelling campaign that will take you to Io. Then you have to complete the Blind Well event in Dreaming City and find the way to unlock the others for each of your characters. It won't be available until you complete the campaign and work your energy level up to 500.
