The Democratic National Convention begins on Monday. But this year’s meeting with Democratic Party delegates, who are expected to formally nominate former Vice President Joe Biden as their presidential candidate, will be felt differently from previous rallies due to coronavirus pandemic.

Originally planned for Milwaukee, most of the convention will take place practically, a step taken to prevent the type of large collection in which the disease often spreads. Biden, who chose Its. Kamala Harris to go with him on the ticket as vice presidential candidate, will accept the nomination from his home in Delaware. Party luminaries, including former President Barack Obama and former First Lady Michelle Obama, are expected to speak.

Biden, who served eight years as Obama’s vice president, is running against President Donald Trump. More Americans than usual are expected to use post-in and absent voting during the election period due to the pandemic. Election day is Tuesday, November 3.

Delayed by about a month, the Democratic National Convention runs from Monday 17 August to 20 August. Speeches will be streamed from 21-11 ET (6-8 PT) every night. Here’s how to look.
