How to use Facebook Messenger screen sharing on your phone

  • Open the Messenger app on your iPhone or Android.
  • To start a video call, select one or more contacts and tap the camera icon.
  • When you are on the call, swipe up in the toolbar at the bottom (where you will find the icons for hanging up or turning off the microphone).
  • From the expanded menu, tap Share your screen.

From that time on, the other people in the video cat can see a live view of what’s on your phone screen. The video chat interface will move to the upper right corner of your phone, so you can still see your friends on camera while showing them what’s on your phone.
