It's easy to think of bathroom upgrades when it comes to large ticket and total refurbishment, but we've rounded out some good cheap upgrades you can enjoy now for less than $ 20 each.
The bathroom gets a lot to use in a home but it is too easy to overlook it. One day it looks good together and you are happy with it, but before you feel it, it looks like the bath mat looks like it has been struck by a wood chipper and you wonder why you never come around to replace everything this busted stuff. We're here to help. We've rounded up our favorite cheap bathroom upgrades, all of which cost under $ 20, so you can enjoy a small budget-friendly luxury and comfort in your bathroom.
Better Living Soap and Shower Dispenser ($ 19.58)
I've been having one of these Better Living dispensers in every shower in my house for years now and that's possibly one of my favorite cheap bathroom upgrades. For just twenty dollars, you can get rid of three different bottles from your shower. It comes with waterproof labels (Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, etc.), glue (you can use either the included double-sided mounting band or the small tube of silicone caulk) and you can mount it flat against the shower wall or in the corner with ease.
Single Human Step Trashcan ($ 15)
Simplehuman products are really nice and usually very expensive. This petite 6-liter pedal debris offers the solid construction and construction you can expect from the company, but you can get it for only $ 15.
Why do you use a pedal can and a small one? Pedal cans are good for bathrooms because they contain odors, keep pets away and hide the contents of the trash until it's time to empty it. Not only are small jars like this little one large for bathrooms with limited spaces but the size also encourages you to empty the container more so that you do not get stuck with a giant compressed block of make-up cloths and discarded tissues that pull up your bathroom. 19659007] TubShroom Hair Catcher ($ 13)
The TubShroom falls well into the category of things that look stupid and can't work but does absolute work and the only stupid part is how you feel when you realize you should have bought $ 13 a little rubber stopper years ago.
Most catchers are total debris because they either sound too many hairs or they quickly clog up and you left trying to handle it during your shower to get the water flowing down the drain again. TubShrooms design is fast smart, as it encourages hair to wrap around the base of the sponge shape while providing plenty of holes along the "trunk" of the sponge and top to allow the water to flow through. The way TubShroom is in the drainage, I'm not even sure if it's completely possible to completely clog the shore of shaving the head in the shower.
Cleaning is also very simple, just pull it up, pull off the hair and throw it away and plug it back into the drain. Since I installed one, I didn't have to snake the drain to get hair out.
SlipX Overflow Drain Cover ($ 9)
Your bathroom has overflow drains, because in practice you do not want a flooded bathroom. At the same time, you want to suck in a bathtub properly without half of your body sticking out of the water. Enter the overflow cap. Unlike flood drain exchanges that remove the overflow sewage function, this SlipX lock suction cup lowers over the drain and effectively raises the drain point ~ 4. Most bathing mats are rubbish, which is something you do not fully appreciate until you throw them in the washing machine once or twice. It is when you realize that your cheap bath mat is really a carefully constructed lint and rubber boom designed to coat everything that touches it with fuzz and small pieces of rubber base.
You don't have to worry about it with the Gorilla Grip bath mat. Unlike most bath mats, the support of Gorilla Grip is not cheap PVC rubber but a stronger TP rubber. So far despite frequent washes, pet accidents, spilled bathroom products and more, the carpets have been hanging in our house. At first I thought that the little soft "fingers" design of the fabric was a bit odd (compared to more traditional looped rugs) but it is so soft and comfortable to wear. I am completely sold on it now.
