Manufacturers and retailers

If you are looking for an unlocked phone or a wide range of operator options, you can choose to buy the Note 20 through a major retailer – or through Samsung itself, which offers some decent discounts if you order early.

When you order between August 6 and August 20, you will receive a Samsung credit of $ 100 (on a future purchase, not this one) if you order Note 20 or a credit of $ 150 if you order Note 20 Ultra.

You can purchase an unlocked version, or a carrier-specific version if you prefer, using the Shop Samsung app or Samsung’s website.

The largest online retailer offers Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra unlocked – but you will not find any other bonuses or packages at the moment. Still, it is a good option if you have an Amazon gift card to burn.

The electronics retailer will carry both the Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra. You can get up to $ 700 off either device with a pre-order of a new activation and a replacement.

carrier

Buying through a wireless carrier can often open the door to big discounts – but usually only if and when you switch to a new operator, change planes or open new lines.

Verizon customers can get Note 20 by paying $ 41.66 per month for 24 months, or Note 20 Ultra on a plan of $ 54.16 per month for 24 months.

The airline runs several promotions, such as a buy-one-get-one-free or up to $ 500 in credit with an exchange. You need to read the fine print on Verizon’s website to see exactly what you’re entitled to.

T-Mobile takes pre-orders that start a day later, on August 7. You can get Note 20 for $ 41.67 per month, 128 GB Note 20 Ultra for $ 54.17 per month or 512 GB Note 20 Ultra for the same $ 54.17 per month with $ 150 down. If you buy a Note 20 and add a line to your account, you get up to $ 1,000 from another Note 20 – making the base model free.

AT&T provides customers who shop in a eligible entity up to $ 1,000 from Note 20 when purchased on a 30-month payment plan and with a qualified unlimited plan. In other words, depending on the phone you are shopping for, you can get Note 20 for free.

If you switch to Xfinity Mobile between August 6 and September 15, you will receive a $ 400 discount on Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra when you activate a new line and transfer your number. If you are already a customer, you will receive a $ 400 Visa gift card when you upgrade.

US Cellular takes pre-orders and will have phones available in stores on 21 Aug. for $ 19.99 per month.
