After turning off your shiny newand setting it up, there's a lot to learn about the device. To begin with, everyone with Android Pie comes out of the box. The latest mobile operating system from Google has some new features that Samsung has been working on in its own proprietary One UI skin.
We have used S10 once now and below are some tips and tricks we have come up with to help you get the most out ofS10 or S10 Plus.
Samsung has added an official night mode to latest Galaxy devices running Android Pie. The Galaxy S10 series, of courses, comes with Android Pie out of the box.
Night mode makes system programs and other areas in the interface black, making it easier to look at your phone's screen at night or in dimly lit environments. Night mode can be activated in Settings > Display > Night mode . You can set it all the time, or create a schedule to enable the device to activate night mode based on your location.
Changing these settings
Weyou should take a look at switching after installing your Galaxy S10. There is a nice new navigation navigation function that you probably want to take a look at. Trust me.
You can snooze warnings, remove them from the notification screen for a certain amount of time by snooze them. Slowly pull each direction on a warning until you see a setting icon and a clock. Tap the clock and then select how much time you want to snooze the alert for.
Require closing apps
S10's app-switching interface has tweaked, with app cards placed horizontally. Press the app switch button to view recently used apps. Forcing close an app by swiping up the preview. Unlike iOS, you can't swipe multiple apps at the same time. Fortunately, there is a close all-button at the bottom of the screen.
Shared screen apps
If you want to use more than one app at a time, navigate to the multitasking view and find one of the apps you want to use in shared screen mode. Touch the app's icon and then select Open in screen view .
The first app minimizes to the top of the screen until you start the other app you want to use.
Remap Bixby button
Oh did you hear? The Bixby button on the side of S10 can be used to open anything other than Bixby. It does not mean that you are completely dike Bixby, but you can at least use some of the button..
Galaxy S10 can wirelessly charge another device via a feature called Wireless PowerShare. To put your S10 into a wireless charging plate, open the Quick Setup panel and press Wireless PowerShare. Just make sure your phone has over 30 percent of its battery left.
Google's Digital Wellbeing Initiative expands beyond Android manufacturers' own Pixel phones. Open the app Settings and select Digital Wellbeing from the list to enable and customize how the statistics tracker works to help you cut back on the time you spend and stare at your phone. 19659012] Secure Folder
If you have some apps, contacts, photos or emails that you want behind another security layer, enable Samsung's secure folder. To create a secure folder, open Settings > Biometrics and Security > Safe Folder and follow the instructions.
For those who need to manage a personal and business account in an app like Snapchat or Facebook, you can use the S10's Dual Messenger feature. Open Settings > Advanced Features > Dual Messenger and then select the app you want to activate the feature for. After answering a few instructions, you get a second install of the app that you can use.
