Last week, Garmin took a one-two punch during his boxing practice and went down on the bill. At least it̵7;s our best guess at what happened, because the company still will not say. But after several days, Garmin Connect starts working again for some users, even though the service still seems shaky.
While we are still not entirely sure what brought down Garmin, we know that the company’s call center, customer email support, its mobile app, and the Garmin Connect service and website all lost. Garmin acknowledged the breach but did not provide further information.
We want to extend our sincere apology for the inconvenience caused by the outage to our customers. We hope this FAQ answers some of the questions you have: https://t.co/e3lgtpZ1Ci

The company created a FAQ, but it does not answer many of our common questions, such as “why” and “how” this happened. But reports are coming in that users can sync data again, and we confirm that this on Review Geek with some of our devices.
But while data synchronization works, it is a lengthy process and the iOS app still generates errors. Obviously, Garmin has not completely solved the problem, no matter what it may be. When Garmin is ready to share more information, we’ll let you know.
