My daughter and I like to use our YouTube playlists for music – much like you might use Spotify or Pandora playlists. If you get your Google startup memory ($ 49 in the Google Store) or smart speaker to play your YouTube playlists can be hard to find out, since the installation is not exactly intuitive or obvious.
Here's how to get the device tuned into your playlist.
Open the Home app and tap the device's icon on the home screen. Then press Settings> Paired Bluetooth Devices> Enable Pairing Mode . Open Bluetooth on your phone and under Available Devices select your home device.
Now that your phone and your Google Home device are connected, open your YouTube app and start your favorite list. The music will play on your smart speaker.
If you have problems, there are a few ways to get things working. First, make sure the phone is not connected to any other speaker right now by going to the Bluetooth settings on your phone.
If you use a Google hub, you can also click the cast icon above the YouTube video and select your hub from the list.
