Phone app on your iPhone has a comfortable "Favorites" section where you can find your most important contacts. Here's how to choose which contacts are shown here.
You can also set Do not disturb so that your favorite contacts always reach you ̵1; even if other incoming phone calls will not call your iPhone. This can be crucial in an emergency.
Favorites have been around since the very first days of the iPhone, but it probably means you've forgotten that they exist. And it's a shame because this feature is so useful.
How to add a contact to favorites
To add a contact to favorites, open the phone app with the green phone and press the "Favorites" button before pressing the "+" button in the upper left corner
Next, find the contact you want to add and tap their name.
You will now see all types of records you can create for the contact you selected, including "Message", "Total", "Video" and "Mail." Touch the type of favorite you want to create, and when you press it, the action is to be performed when the favorite is activated, for this way, let's choose "Message".
All available phone numbers or email address r is displayed, point to the one you want to assign as a favorite.
That's all that happens, and you now have a new record in Favorites. If you tap it, you start a chat in Messaging, start a voice or video call, or write a new email depending on the options you selected earlier.
Delete a contact from favorites
Open the Phone app and tap "Favorites" before pressing the "Edit" button at the top of the screen.
Next, press the red "Delete" button to the left of the contact you want to Delete, and then press the "Delete" button as is shown to the right.
How to allow favorites to be changed Do not disturb
Open the setup app and press "Do not disturb."
Next, click the Allow calls from option.
Finally, press "Favorites" to allow calls from those listed as favorites to bypass Do not disturb when active.
