Keeping track of your favorite TV shows and movies can be difficult considering dozens of streaming services. However, adding your favorites to your Google Watchlist can help you keep track of them.
The Watchlist feature is part of Google Search, and it is also integrated with the Google TV app. Adding movies and TV shows to your watch list is a nice way to easily find them and see what services they are available.

If you have a Chromecast with Google TV or an updated Android TV, the watch list will be even more powerful. Items you add to your watchlist are automatically displayed on the home screen. If you add content while browsing your phone or computer, it will also be on your TV.
Because the watchlist is available through Google Search, you can use it on any iPhone, iPad, Android device, or any browser. To get started, just search Google for a movie or TV show.
Then scroll down and you will see an information card. Towards the bottom of the card, simply press “Watchlist” to add the title to your watchlist.
You can also tap “Watched It” if you have already seen the movie or show, and then Google will take this into account when making recommendations.
At the far left, tap “Watch Now” to go directly to that streaming service, or tap the arrow next to “All Clock Options” for more ways to view the title.
To see your watchlist at any time, just type “My Watchlist” into Google’s search box.
As mentioned, it is also available in the Google TV app for iPhone, iPad and Android.
The Watchlist is not a super robust feature, but it is a convenient way to keep track of your favorite movies and programs and where you can watch them.
