In iOS 13, Apple Maps makes it easier for you to organize important places on your iPhone, so you can save places as favorites that you can access at a glance.
On the search card you will see several buttons below the search field, including your home and work address, if you have addresses for them on your contact card. These buttons are your favorites. Although "Favorites" is not a new feature in iOS itself, it works.
If you are new to the map or simply want to learn the ins and outs of the latest and redesigned features, we will go by adding a favorite place, rearrange your favorite places, edit a favorite place and remove a favorite place.
Adding a favorite place
You can add a place to your favorite list in one of three ways: from your contact card (for home and work addresses); through the Favorites section of the search card; and at a specific location information card.
You can also choose a home or work address with the other two options below, giving you instant access to your contact Card to be updated. You can have more than one home or work address listed and you can see them all in Favorites if you don't delete them later.
2nd From the favorite section
In maps, press the "Add" button (+ icon) in the section Favorites on the search card. Depending on how many favorites you already have, you may need to swipe left to the end to find it. Alternatively, you can press "See All" in the section Favorites and then the plus sign (+) at the bottom right.
In the Add to Favorite card, you can search for a location or address in the search field, or you can select any of the Siri suggested locations in the list below. The Siri proposals are a mixture of places visited, places you have previously found and popular places nearby. Apart from businesses, places of interest and other places, you can also add transit stops (which also adds it to your map transport widget in Today View).
Touch the plus sign (+) next to any suggestions or search results you want to favorite.
