If you are an iPhone or iPad owner (especially one whose children are using your device), you can sometimes block access to a particular site. Whether this site is an adult or just something, you do not want your children to access, block specific sites on an iPhone or iPad, just taking some cranes.
We'll run through how to make sure that a particular website is not available in Safari. This process has recently been modified with the release of iOS 12, so if you think you already know how to block websites you may be surprised. Apple has rolled this special functionality to its new Screen Time feature, and while it is now hidden under some extra cranes, it still works as a charm.
Enter the Settings app, scroll down a bit and press the "Screen Time" option.
Then click on "Content Protection and Restrictions."
If not already enabled, turn on "Content and Privacy Limitations" press "Content Limitations" to continue.
On the Content Limitations page, touch the "Web Content" option. You may notice that there is "unlimited access", but you will change it soon.
Do not worry; You're almost done.
Next, enable the "Restrict Adult Sites" option, which is required before blocking specific sites. From here, touch "Add homepage" at the bottom of the screen. Here you will enter the URL of the site you are going to block.
On the Add Website page, enter the URL of the site you want to block, and then tap "Done" on the keyboard.
At this time you are completely ready and the site is blocked. You can test this by going to Safari and trying to access the site in question. If everything has gone according to plan, you will see an error that we have here.
If you need to add more sites, return to the same location and continue adding. If you choose to delete later, swipe the URL and then tap "Remove."
