Your S10's notification panel can quickly fill in alerts on incoming messages, emails, weather reports … the list goes on and on. If that is not enough, these messages are accompanied by tags that appear as small numbered circles that are added to icons on the phone's home page and appbox.
When you consider there is really no point behind the app icon badges on Android, because you can only easily show any warning in the notification panel. Not only are these brands quite redundant, but for many people they are just a straightforward view. Thank you so much, Samsung gives you a very simple approach to disabling these small disturbances.
Change and Remove App Icon Badges
To get rid of the icons of the app icon on your S10, open Settings and click "Messages". From there, tap the switch next to "App Icon Badges" to disable the feature. Return to your home screen when you are done and you will now notice a cleaner display that lacks small icon badges.
Alternatively, if you don't mind badges but want them should appear smaller and more subtle, press "App icon badges" text instead of the switch and then select "Show without number" on the following page. When finished, icons for app icons will not appear and will appear only as small red dots.
