Every Android device has some form of File Manager app pre-installed. On Google Pixel phones, it is simply called “Files”;. Samsung Galaxy phones call it “My Files.”
You also have the option to install another file manager from the Google Play Store. One that we like is the app “Files by Google”. In addition to being able to view downloads, it has handy tools for freeing up storage space.

Downloaded files are saved in the “Downloads” folder on your device. To begin with, open the file manager on your Android phone or tablet. In this example, we use the Google Pixel “Files” app.
The next step is to find the “Downloads” folder. Tap the burger menu icon in the upper left corner to open the side menu.
Select the “Downloads” option from the list.
All your downloaded files are in this folder.
The process is even easier if you use the “Files by Google” app. First open the app on your Android device. Make sure you are on the “Browse” tab.
Click on the “Downloads” option and then you will see all your downloaded documents and files.
