How to freeze a row in Excel:
1. Select the line just below the data you want to freeze. In our case I want to freeze rows one to three, so I have selected row four.
2. Go to View the tab and find the Window .
3. Now select the option Freezer panes and select Freezer panes. You will also notice that you can choose to freeze only the first row or the first column as well. Note that freezing of rows means that you freeze every row above where you choose.
4. If you want to freeze the panes, you can go back to the Freeze panes and select the Unfreeze option.
