Instagram is the place to be these days and, once said, sharing is caring. It can be your wedding or something much more casual, but without followers it is pointless. This makes it easy for people to follow you.
Those who work on Instagram know that the key to a good Instagram profile is to make it easy for people to follow you. All the best pictures in the world will not do you good if no one knows they exist, so it is important that you share your Instagram profile. You may not know it yet, but your Instagram profile has a Nametag, and if you don't like it, you can customize it, for. The idea is that you share your Nametag-essentially a QR code in image format – and then other people link it to Instagram to access your profile before they hopefully follow you.
So now we are all familiar with what a Nametag is, how do you share with you and get the sweet, sweet followers?
How to share your Instagram Nametag
As you might expect, the Instagram app is the place to start. Open the app and press the "Profile" button.
Next, press the hamburger button in the upper right corner to expand the sidebar.
The options you see next Depending on whether you have a business or a private Instagram account, it may differ from our screenshot. Regardless, press "Nametag" to proceed.
The next screen is a full screen view of the name, and there is an option below to scan someone else's. You can edit the name by pressing the button at the top of the screen, but the most important thing is to get it out there. To share it, press the split button.
As of this time, the process is the same as sharing any other content via the IOS sub-sheet. Point to the app you want to use and develop according to it, whether it is Messages, Twitter or any other app.
How to edit the name
With your Nametag visible, you can choose from one of three different types of tags: Selfie, Emoji or Color. Press the button at the top of the screen to scroll through them.
If you choose either Emoji or Color, you can select a new Emoji or color you want to use by tapping the background of the name. If a selfie is more your style, you will be asked to take a photo of yourself which then morphed into a sticker that ultimately becomes your tag's background. Again, by tapping this background, you cycle through various accessories to your new self-sustaining face, including sunglasses, a mustache and more.
