The new Disney + service is only $ 6.99 a month, but an even more appealing thing for some people is the $ 12.99 package that combines Disney +, Hulu and ESPN + on one count.
Unfortunately, the version of Hulu that comes with that bundle is the usual one with ads. But there is a way around this for people who want to pay more for the ad-free level in Hulu (or who can already subscribe to it). Hulu goes over the process here, and it was also reported by Lifehacker .
It is about subscribing to Hulus $ 11.99 / month without advertising service (this step must be completed first) and since sign up for the Disney + package with the same email address you used for your Hulu account. After that, you will receive a $ 5.99 monthly credit from Disney on your bundled subscription. You may also receive a credit if you are a former ESPN + subscriber, but this may vary depending on the type of subscription you have and if you receive it from an app store.
If you do the math it means (assuming you want Hulu and ESPN +) you basically get the three services for a dollar more than if you simply took the original package ̵1; but you also get Hulu without the ads. The only downside is that you will handle separate bills.
If the triple package is not something you want, remember that some Verizon customers can take advantage of a Disney + free year offer.
