Disney Plus is the streaming service that is pretty much mandatory if you have children. Or if you love Marvel movies. Or Star Wars. Or Baby Yoda. In principle, it is only mandatory. (? Unfortunately.) And priced at $ 6.99 a month, it's not quite expensive, but in combination with Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, HBO and more, costs start to add up.
When it first launched, you could only buy Disney Plus for yourself . But recently, Disney rolled out a one-year gift subscription to Disney Plus for $ 69.99 which made it a great alternative for the holiday.
Of course there is some fine print. It's only for new subscribers in the US, so you can't give this to anyone to add to a subscription they already have. But giving Disney the gift is easy; you enter a day and House of Mouse sends an email to your recipient with instructions on how to register and start watching. And for a year it's $ 13.89 cheaper than paying month to month, so it's good for everyone.
