The home page, the small color at the bottom of the screen of Home button iPhone models, is helpful when you first get used to an iPhone X or newer gesture. It helps you learn how to swipe up to unlock, go to the home screen, see the app switch, and so on. But after a few weeks, just an annoying eye you can't get rid of – if you don't have a jailbroken iPhone X.
Hopefully, Apple will allow us to hide the home field on Face ID equipped iPhones when iOS 13 rolls Out, but you can do something about it now if you don't feel like waiting for something that can't even happen. That's where HideBarX tweak comes from the developer Spark that lets you remove the home field for fewer distractions and an overall cleaner look.
Step 1: Install Sparks Beta Repository
while HideBarX is free to install, you can not only get tweak within either Cydia or Sileo directly. You must first install an external repo. If you are not familiar with the process, it basically just means adding beta.sparkservers.co.uk to your "Sources" list for either app.
It is worth noting that when you add Cydia, it will not automatically appear in Sileo, and vice versa, so you must manually add repo to both if you use both. Check out the guides below to learn more about the process.
Step 2: Install and use HideBarX
With the Spark's beta repo on hand, go to the "Search" page for either Cydia or Sileo, type "hidebarx" in the search bar and press the tweak when it appears. Now press either "Install" (Cydia) or "Get" (Sileo) on the tweak's "Details" page.
You must now complete the tweak's installation, so choose either "Confirm" (Cydia) or swipe up on the bottom of the "Queue" card and select "Confirm" next to it (Sileo). From there, just wait a minute or two (usually less) for tweak to install, and then click "Restart SpringBoard" to return to your iPhone and exit.
As you can see from the GIF above is HideBarX instantly activated as soon as your iPhone resprings. No more gray, black or white line at the bottom of the lock screen. No more bar inside apps. It's just gone for a red-faced look. That being said, tweak does not have a dedicated setup page for you to access to disable the feature of the flight, which means you have to uninstall it if you ever want the home field again.
