The next section on the page has a premade list of chores that you can use. You can get rid of unwanted chores by pressing the X icon next to them, or you can add more by clicking the Add button at the bottom of the page.

When done, scroll up and click Next: Assign button at the top right of the screen.

On the next screen that pops up, select a person from your household from the drop-down menu and assign them a chore from the second drop-down list. Then assign the days they are required to do. At the bottom of the screen you can set reminders so that Alexa will announce chore and whose luck it is.

Click Add a person at the bottom of the screen to match another person with a chore. Click Next: Experience when you're done.

The Experience page lets you choose how Alexa interacts and encourages users when they use the character chart. You can use the completed answers or add your own. For example, you can get her to say, "Good job, you're a master," when a job is done.

When you finish it, click Next: Name at the top of the screen. When you have a name on your chart, click Next: Create skill to finish.

How to use your character chart

Once you have created your character chart, you will be directed to a login screen to connect the new skill with your Alexa device. When it is clear, you can open the skill by saying "Alexa, open (chore chart's name)."

To use the chart, tell Alexa to ask the chore list to read the chores for the day. When a chore is finished, say, "Alexa, ask (chore diagrams name) to log a chore."

You can also resolve the argument about who has done more chores by asking, "Alexa, question (chore chart's name) for the chore score." A chore is equal to one point and the point system starts fresh every week.
