The Apple Watch is great for handling your messages without ever touching your iPhone. But sometimes the notifications just stack up, and all you want is to clear them away. How to quickly clear all messages on Apple Watch.
Starting with watchOS 7, Apple has changed the way it clears all notifications. Previously, you would press and hold in the message center to get the Clear All button. But with watchOS 7 and higher, Apple has finally said goodbye to 3D Touch.
This is a step in the right direction, but it changes the process of clearing all messages.
First show the face of the watch on your Apple Watch and swipe down from the top of the screen to open the message center. If you are using an app, press and hold the top edge of the screen, then swipe down.
Now you see a list of all your notifications. Here, if you press and hold the screen, nothing will happen. Swipe down to reach the top of this screen. You can also use Digital Crown.
At the top of the message center you will find a new “Clear All” button. Tap it to clear all messages immediately (and to close the message center itself).
Now when you return to the Message Center, it will read the two wonderful words: No notifications.
