First use the D-pad on the remote control to select the “Gear” icon in the upper right corner of the TV’s customizable home screen.
The settings menu slides open. Some Android TVs will have a “Quick Settings” section at the top that contains “Restart”. If you have the option, select it and you are done.
If you do not have the “Quick Settings” section, there are some extra steps. Scroll down first and select “Device settings”.
Then click “About”.
Now you see the option “Restart”. Select it to restart your Android TV.
The TV turns off briefly and then you see the start-up animations when it is switched on again. That’s all!
