When we ever go closer to the Thanksgiving holiday, several things to remember are: turkey, black friday and macy's thanksgiving day parade.
The annual parade strikes off the high season in the United States on a major road, with bigger and better floats descending in Manhattan each year. This is the 92th year that Parade has marched down the streets of New York with familiar pop culture characters, singers, band members and other colorful personalities in trailers. This year, over 8000 artists are expected to attend Parade, with 16 giant balloons, 26 fleets and 43 news balloons and more in trailers. There are even 12 different march bands and over 1000 clowns. It will certainly be a spectacle.
If you will not be there personally (and let's face it, most of us do not) you have plenty of options to watch.
NBC will fly the parade this year starting at 9:00 ET, with a recovery of parade coverage at 14:00 ET. CBS will also provide coverage at the same start time to watch live on TV. But for the rest of us, streaming is probably the best option, even if you want to run for extra coverage.
How to Live on Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade 2018.
Enter the Verizon official YouTube channel at 9:00 ET to watch a live stream in Parade, licensed by NBCU universe and Verizon. It will offer an interactive 360 degree power experience directly from the side and will run by 12.00 p.m. ET. If you want, you can set a reminder via YouTube to return to the page to watch the stream.
Watch via NBC App or official website
NBC will fly the parade through its special cable app and streaming website. Both will require you to log in with your TV provider's data. Main here if you prefer to look in your browser. The instructions for signing in will be the same if you are on mobile or desktop.
Once you have chosen your cable supplier, log in with your username and password.
When you're logged in, you'll get a "Success" screen, and your live TV session will start. That's all you need to do on the day of the parade, whether you're using the app or browser.
Happy view and happy turkey Sunday!
