How you take a screenshot on your Android phone or tablet varies depending on the model you have. With the help of a handy app, however, you can take a screenshot by simply tapping on the back of the device.
The app we recommend is Tap, Tap. It̵7;s not available in the Google Play Store, but you can easily download it on any Android 7.0 or later device. Before we continue, follow our guide to get Tap, Tap installed and ready to go.

To configure the screenshot gesture, open Tap, Tap, and then select either “Double Knock Actions” or “Triple Knock Actions.” For this guide, we choose the former.
Then tap Add action.
That’s all you really need to do, but you can take it a little longer if you want to make sure the action works properly. Press “Add Requirements” to do so.
It is not possible to take a screenshot when the screen is off, but just to make sure the gesture is not detected, press “Display On”. Now Tap, the Tap app only runs when the screen is on.
That’s all! You can now tap the back of the phone to take a screenshot immediately.
