It's generally a good idea to keep your apps up to date, but there are situations you may not want. You may be on a measured connection or have a data loss that you try not to exceed. Or maybe you do not want a particular app updated to a new buggy version. How to prevent the Microsoft Store from automatically updating apps you have downloaded from it.
The first thing you need to do is fire up in the Microsoft Store. Click Start, type "store" in the search box, and then click "Microsoft Store."
Click the Show more (the three points) button in the Store app in the top right and then "Settings."
From here, select "Update Apps Automatically" Switch.
From now on, if you want to update programs that are connected to the Microsoft Store, you must open the store and manually update them through the "Downloads and Updates" settings. To reactivate automatic updates, follow the steps above and turn on "Refresh Apps Automatically" again.
