How to unlock and enable development options on all Android phones



Even if you are soda about rooting your Android phone and installing a custom ROM, you can still try some features and settings that are not enabled by default. Each Android phone is equipped with the ability to enable development options that allow you to test certain features and access parts of the phone that are usually locked. As you might expect, the development options are cleverly hidden by default, but it is easy to activate if you know where to look.

Find Your Android Construction Number

Before you can enable development options on your Android phone or tablets, you first need to find the phone's construction number. On most phones you can simply type construction number in the search bar, but here you will find it on some popular devices:

The building number of your Android phone is on another place on all phones, but it's easy to find.

Google Pixel : Settings> System> About phone> Construction number

Samsung Galaxy S8 and later : Settings> About phone> Software information> Construction number

LG G6 and later : Settings> About phone> Software information> Construction number

HTC U11 and later : Settings> About> Software information> More> Construction number

OnePlus 5T and later: Settings> About phone> Construction number

Discover developer options 19659003] Once you have found the screen with your Construction Number, you have to press the seven seven times. That's right: seven times. After a few cranes you see a small pop-up warning that says "You are now X steps away from being a developer" with a number that counts down with each additional crane.
