public accounts: If your Instagram account is public, your roll will be shared under the Discover tab when it is published; this allows anyone to discover it. As a public account, you can also choose to share the roll to your feed, where it can be displayed in your profile feed.

Private accounts: If your Instagram account is private, your Reel follows your privacy settings, which means it may not be shared with the Discovery tab. As a private account, you can also choose to share the roll in your feed, where your approved followers can see it on your profile.
