If you blinked, you may have missed the Premier League off-season. TheOutbreaks caused a delay in the English football season, which suspended games in the spring and did not end until the end of July. Liverpool won their first title in 30 years and will start their title defense on Saturday 12 September when the Premier League season 2020-21 begins.

Which teams are the favorites this season?
There are four heavy favorites. Manchester City finished second to Liverpool last season and open as the favorite to capture the 2020-21 Premier League title, despite missing Lionel Messi. Liverpool have the second best odds of winning the league, followed by Chelsea – and its American superstar Christian Pulisic – and Manchester United.
Which teams were relegated and promoted?
Bournemouth, Norwich City and Watford finished at the bottom of the table last season and have been relegated to the second division, the EFL Championship. Substitutes for the relegated clubs and promotion to the top flight are Fulham, Leeds United and West Bromwich Albion, all big teams happy to return to the Premier League.
Which Premier League games are on TV this week?
The first match day of the 2020-21 season runs from Saturday to Monday, with four matches on NBCSN, three matches on Peacock and one match on NBC. No fans will attend in October at the earliest, reports the BBC.
