Registered iOS developer received its first taste of 12.1.1 dev beta 2 Wednesday, November 7th. While public testers running 12,1,1 beta 1 are currently behind these developers, they will not be too long – we expect Apple to release iOS 12.1.1 public beta 2 soon, possibly today or tomorrow.
Public testers excited about a new update should know 12.1.1 Beta 2 is a minor upgrade over beta 1 – Apple contains bug fixes and security stains, and not much else this time. While it is important to update as quickly as possible, testers should not expect any new features or major changes during installation.
To download and update your iPhone to iOS 12.1.1 public beta 2 when it becomes available, you must first sign up for the beta application and have a valid configuration profile. If you have enabled iOS 12's new "Automatic Updates," you can let the software be updated overnight. To download beta right now, start the Settings app, select "General" and then "Software Update." Touch "Download and install" and then follow the onscreen instructions.
While Apple releases the public beta just a few hours after the developer's beta, it can wait until tomorrow for publication. The company sown dev beta 2 unusually late on Wednesday, possibly because of Samsung's great presentation. Apple may want to ensure that there are no issues with the development work before publishing the public version.
As a whole, iOS 12.1.1 fixes the FaceTime user interface so that the flip camera button is more easily accessible and it selects the Return of the Live Photo button in the app that was removed in iOS 12. There is also the option to turn off nano -SIM dual SIM iPhones account, an updated Apple Watch icon for Series 4 and VoLTE support for Sprint. Those with iPads can also hide the Channels column in News.
