Force-closing or ending an app on iOS, according to Apple, is at least never really necessary. Still, some like to keep a nice multitasking view. And let's face it, where is times when an app has to be forced to close because it simply stopped working.

To force close an app, swipe upward from the bottom of the screen to trigger multitasking view. Then just sweep! You no longer need to press an app card. You can swap up on one, two or three cards at once – just use multiple fingers.
