Samsung's ($ 159 on B&H Photo-Video) but they share much of the same functionality, including some of that magic to AirPods are known for.doesn't look like Apple's AirPods
For example, pairing Galaxy Buds with a Galaxy phone is extremely simple.
The process is almost identical to connecting AirPods with an iPhone, just instead of taking a few seconds, it was more than 30 seconds in my experience. I sped up the animated image above.
If you have trouble getting the instant message displayed in the GIF above to appear, you can always go into the Bluetooth setup window and select Galaxy Buds from a list of available devices (make sure the cover of Galaxy Buds case is open ). Alternatively, open the Galaxy Wearable app and select Galaxy Buds from the list of nearby devices and follow the instructions.
If you have a non-Samsung Android or iOS device and want to use Galaxy Buds, you have to go about things a little differently.
For Android devices not manufactured by Samsung, you need to install the SmartThings app and the Galaxy Wearable app from the Play Store. With both programs installed, use the Galaxy Wearable app to complete the pairing process. Again, make sure the Galaxy Buds case is open with the knobs in their respective spots before being connected.
IOS users simply need to open the Galaxy Buds case and then go to Settings > Bluetooth and select Galaxy Buds from the list of available devices.
