Lutron adds a fan control Smart Switch to its Caseta Lineup – Review Geek

New year 2019, Lutron has introduced a fan control smart switch as part of the existing Caseta product line. It will be available from March for $ 80, with a matching Pico remote that costs $ 42.

Lutron Caseta currently offers smart attenuators, switches and switches, but users can now add their ceiling fans to the mix by steering their fans away from their phones (or according to schedule), as well as controlling the fan speed.

The switch looks very much like Lutron's existing Caseta dimmer switch, with the only real difference being cosmetically the small fan icon on the buttons on and off. So they should fit perfectly with your existing Caseta-filled home.

The only drawback is that your ceiling fan must be one that is controlled by a power switch on / off, as it becomes what is replaced when you install the fan control smart switch. It will also require a neutral lead for installation.
