The next-generation Sony game console will hit stores on November 12 in two versions: a digital version for only $ 400 and a $ 500 model with Blu-ray. But after most retailers jumped on the bandwagon and began taking online pre-orders a day early, the resulting traffic from enthusiastic fan sites crashed as if they were being hit by denial of-service attacks. Walmart delivered another pre-order round the next night (September 17) at 6pm PT, just so they could sell out in under a minute. And even if you’m lucky enough to get a pre-order, you may not get your shiny new PS5 on launch day. some of the first waves of PS5 customers who “may not get this item on the day it’s released due to high demand.”
On Saturday, September 19, Sony acknowledged the obvious: In a tweet, the companyand said that “will release more PS5 consoles for pre-order.” In addition, the company promised “more PS5 will be available by the end of the year.”
At the moment we can not find any consoles available for pre-order, but there are still some accessories (like the new DualSense Wireless Controller) that you can easily book. In the meantime, we have compiled the pre-order pages for major retailers below so that you can easily browse the status of their stock at any given time. At Amazon’s PS5 headquarters, you can see eye candy images of PS5 accessories such as the DualSense charging station, Pulse 3D wireless headset and HD camera. But click through the console page itself and you will not find a way to order right now.

According to me, Best Buy’s pre-order stock was the longest, but eventually gave in to demand. You can still get the accessories.

Sony allowed users to register here for the option to pre-order a PS5, but as of Thursday night, the page says “Registration is now closed.”
