One thing that always bugged me about the Notes app for iPhone is that every note starts with Large, bold text. Relevant in some cases, sure, but for the most part I’m just trying to write down a few thoughts, and having a giant sentence is just unnecessary. Fortunately, it is not that difficult to fix.
Apple has each note by default with the “Title” format. You can change the style directly in a note, but this only applies to the current note.
To change the default format for all future notes, simply open “Notes” in Settings and then select “Start New Notes.” Now select one of the other three options: “Heading”;, “Subheading” or “Body”. If you are looking for standard size, go with “Body”, not a title or heading option.
