You have decided on larger and ear headphones options and chose to buy Apple's true wireless earplugs. Awesome! Now you just need to learn how to use them to their full potential.
This is where we come in. Here are some tips and tricks that will help you master your new AirPods straight out of the box. These options can increase over time, so we update this section because new features are coming on board.
Connect to your iPhone
The easiest task to get to know your new AirPods is to pair them with your iPhone or iPad, which is achieved by opening the charging bag near your phone and then pressing the connection button shown on the screen. That's all! Seriously.
Connecting to Android Phones and Other Devices
AirPods is not just for iPhone users ̵1; they will also work with Android devices and other Bluetooth-enabled devices. A small button on the back of the charging case lets you connect everything from Android phones to computers – all that doesn't work directly with Apple's H1 (or W1, if you have the original AirPods) plate. Just open the charging bag and press and hold the button until the indicator light between AirPods starts blinking white and then find AirPods in the Bluetooth menu on your selected device.
Information on battery life earbuds, and how much juice you have left in the charging bag, can be displayed immediately by opening the case within a few inches of your phone.
Change the name
To change the name of your AirPods, just navigate to the Settings menu on your iPhone, then tap the Bluetooth menu and select AirPods from the list of devices. Once you have selected, you can change the name of your headphones by clicking on the Name section and editing it.
