Plug in your iPhone, iPad
Pairing Powerbeats Pro with your iPhone takes two seconds – literally. Unlock your phone and open the charging case. An animation will pop up on your phone; press Connect .
The same process will also work on an iPad or iPod Touch ($ 200 at Walmart) running the latest version of iOS . Thanks to Apple's H1 chip used in Powerbeats Pro, the earbuds support the "Hey, Siri" command from the box. When using earplugs you only say "Hi, Siri" followed by a command to play music, check messages or ask Siri questions. You don't have to wait for Siri to answer after the first wave phrase – just keep talking.
Deactivating Auto Ear Detection
Powerbeats Pro automatically detects when inserted or removed from the ears. If you prefer not to have a sound pause or start automatically, you can disable it.
While using Powerbeats Pro, open the Settings app on any iOS device and select Bluetooth. Touch "in" next to the Powerbeats Pro name> switch to automatic ear detection to Off position.
Rename your Beats
If you want to personalize the name used in Bluetooth menus for Powerbeats Pro, you can do so in the same Bluetooth settings. On any iOS device go to Settings > Bluetooth > press "i" next to the Powerbeats Pro name> Name . Enter your custom name and exit the setup app.
Both earplugs have volume control as well as a button that can trigger Siri and control media playback. The Beats logo is a multifunction button, with different pressures that trigger different controls. Here are the steps we have discovered so far:

- Double Pressure: Skip Track
- Triple Press: Return a Track

Checking battery life
Check the battery life of your earplugs and the charging seat by placing the earplugs in the case and opening it next to your unlocked iPhone. A popup similar to the initial pairing prompt will appear, describing the battery life of all three bits.

Within the box, under the charging case, you will find an instruction manual, a USB flash cable for charging the case and three additional sets of tips for earplugs. Each set has a different size, which should help you find the best fit for your ears.
The Powerbeats pros are sitting around your ear, and it's also adjustable. The earhook bends in all directions so you can place each earplug for a harder or looser fit based on your comfort.
The charging bag can quickly charge your earplugs. A 5-minute charge gives you 1.5 hours of use, while a 15-minute charge gives you 4.5 hours of use. In total, Powerbeats Pro has a battery life of up to nine hours.
If you are curious: Loading earplugs is done by placing them in the case. The right earpiece must be on the right side of the case and left on the left. When placing earplugs in the case, the magnets will control the earplug in the right place. The charging bag is charged via a flash port on the back of the bag.
