When does it begin?
The NCAA Selection Sunday shows the airs on March 17 from 6 pm to 7 pm ET (3 pm to 4 pm PT) at CBS. (For the record, CNET is a division of CBS.)
How can I stream it?
You can watch the exhibition exhibition on the NCAA's March Madness Live website or use its March Madness Live app. You can watch March Madness Live on iOS and Android devices along with Apple TV ($ 179 at Walmart) Roku, Fire TV ($ 49 at best buy) and Xbox One $ 450 on Amazon) . The app also supports AirPlay and Chromecast ($ 25 on eBay) .
The Mars Madness Live site and the app provide a 3-hour live streaming preview before you need to sign in to a participating pay-TV provider. You will be able to get through the selection for free, but it will leave you valuable minutes with tournament action before the preview expires.
I need more. Can I get more?
Yes. Well you can. If an hour to select the team for the tournament is not enough, you can match what the NCAA calls into the Social Media Post-Show slot. It starts at 19.00 ET (4 pm PT) until at NCAA.com, YouTube, Twitter Facebook and Bleacher Report.
What are my other streaming options?
Cord cutters can use a live TV streaming service to watch the Selection Show. However, in order to view CBS's coverage, you must ensure that the service carries your local CBS station.
