How do you ask? By using a custom shortcut to allow Siri to call Assistant. Sure, it's a bit crowded, but it's as brilliant.

Setting up is stupid easily. Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Assistant app installed, and then open it. You should be prompted to add "Ok Google" to Siri "with a button. Like, tap it.

This will pop up to the Siri menu, where you press the little orange button and records your hotword. It suggests "Ok Google", but you can use anything here. Once done, you're ready to rock and roll.

] If you happen to touch your recording, you have the ability to re-record it before closing the confirmation screen. If you have already closed the bad boy and realize you hate saying "Ok Google", you can still change it after the fact

First, jump to the phone's settings, then select Siri & Search.
